In Wilmington, North Carolina July of 2017 the Military Order of Stars and Bars held their annual convention. During the business secession Larry Brown proposed the formation of a sister organization. After a discussion a vote was taken and proposal was passed. The name Daughters of CSA Officers Corps was selected.
Today, the National Society Daughters of CSA Officers Corps is an organization for ladies with an officer ancestor. This ancestor may have served as a military officer, elected or appointed public official, or elected or appointed federal official during 1861-1865 War.
The lineage may be lineal, collateral, or cousins in your blood line.
